Let’s talk stamps.

You can go to the post office where they will weigh, check thickness, add exact postage with Postal Indicia. There is another option if you own a scale to weigh it yourself - you can add postage stamps and drop off in a street receptacle to skip the post office when mailing Non-Standard /Oversize Lettermail within Canada. Here are a few combinations, albeit, a few are a little over the required postage, but if you like to skip a trip to the post office, that may be worth a couple of cents to you.

TIP - Owning a 20mm slot template is a great item to have to confirm the box is folded correctly and not overstuffed before dropping off in receptacle.

Under 100g is a $2.09 stamp that exists that you can buy,

….but from there you have to get creative.

>100-200g $3.43. $2.09 + $1.40

>200-300g $4.78. 2 x $0.99 + $2.92

>300-400g $5.48. 4 x $1.40

>400-500g $5.89. 6 x $0.99

Important note: Permanent stamps (P) carry a value of .99 cents when applied to NonStandard/Oversize Lettermail.
