The Slotbox is 18.5mm when folded properly and not overstuffed. It is thin enough to meet the 20mm depth requirements for Canadian Non-standard/Oversize lettermail.

You, the sender - are responsible to meet the length, width, weight, content, and packaging requirements set out by Canada Post.

The slot template, trial pack, 8, 6, 4, and 3 packs are sent as Non-standard/Oversize lettermail and have no tracking or insurance

SLOTBOX is not responsible for the non-delivery of the small packs of lettermail items.

Orders are typically shipped same day or next business day.

Most but not all SLOTBOX® orders are sent as parcel with tracking. The exception are the smaller packets; like the trial pack, 3,4,5,8 packets that are sent as economy Non-Standard/Oversize Lettermail. No tracking for these items.

Shipping by Clickship. Carriers will vary. Customers with a P.O.Box may be contacted to provide alternate address for non-Canada Post ship options.

Shipping fee is an estimate - based on Victoria BC to the East Coast. If your order costs less to ship a refund will be processed to you. If your order costs more to ship than the estimate, you may be contacted by the SLOTBOX for order options

Shipping fee does not include tax. Tax will be collected at checkout along with the tax for the product, and remitted to Government of Canada..

You are welcome to purchase your own shipping courier and label. Please see FAQ for details.

The SLOTBOX is located 2524 Bridge Street in Victoria BC. (Enter Sarah Mulligan Designs shop) Local pickup is welcome. Stop by in person, or order ahead on the website. To bypass the shipping fees: at checkout, after your enter your email, choose PICKUP option.

1) British Columbia PST# exemptions are available for customers who provide the PST# number directly to the order page when placed. Enter it in the "additional information" section. *It is required to be inputed on every order invoice. It is not kept on file.

If you wish to have the PST exemption, it is your responsibility to add your BC PST# to every order placed. The website will still collect the PST, but you will be refunded the appropriate amount. 

Note: The Slotbox is not required by law to provide PST exemptions. If you forget to add your exemption #, you can apply to the Ministry for a refund for all your PST paid out on business expenses by mailing in a completed Application for Refund – General (FIN 355). 

2) The Slotbox collects and remits the appropriate G/HST on product value based on the province/territory the product is shipping too. 7% PST is collected on all orders in British Columbia.

3) 5% GST is collected/remitted on all shipping fees.

Every box is inspected to ensure quality control. The SLOTBOX is a shipping box, not a point of sale gift box. Small marks, creases in the board, slight tear in tab, stiff pop out, faint perforation etc.. are all ordinary aspects of the box manufacturing process and do not alter the intended use of the box - these are not considered defects.

However, when these elements are more sever than usual, such boxes are set aside and sold at a discount. All boxes, including discounted, will meet the 20mm requirement and be used to mail as Oversize/Non-standard lettermail within Canada. Please see “discounted” on SHOP page for purchasing.

Website fees, shipping / handling or other credit card charges are non-refundable.

You may cancel an order for a refund less website processing fees if it has not shipped.

REFUNDS are accepted when the product is returned in proper condition at the customers expense - Refunds for product only and at the discretion of the Slotbox®.

No refunds are given for shipping costs and website fees.

Trial packs are available and highly encouraged before you order larger quantities.

RETURN TO SENDER (RTS)- The customer is responsible to ensure the full and correct shipping address is provided at time of placing order.

Shipping couriers, nor the SLOTBOX® - are responsible for verifying the address you provide.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE PROVIDED THE CORRECT AND FULL SHIPPING ADDRESS.

The SLOTBOX is not responsible to reship or absorb the costs involved for such RTS orders. RTS charges and fees will apply.

The SLOTBOX reserves the right to limit quantities or cancel any orders placed.
